For the table runner pictured, I used size 4/worsted weight cotton yarn and 4.00mm hook so I could set hot things on it and protect my table. The final size for the pattern is 54 inches long and 11 inches wide.
I've made a few extras with different hook sizes and width/length and it comes out great every time. Add tassels to the ends for a more customizable look!
